Merkaba symbol

Merkaba, also called the Body of Light: Wed means lightKa means spirit e Ba means bodyIt is a symbol of spiritual and energetic transformation; the Merkaba is the sacred geometry of light.

The word Merkaba means Body of LightWed = lightKa = spirit e Ba = body), is the energy sphere in which everything exists; it is the vehicle that takes you to the dimensions of unity and love that exist beyond the mind.

The upward and downward interconnected tetrahedra represent the duality of existence (body and spirit) united in the harmony of a single form. Together they are the light.

The Merkaba expresses the potential of a world of community and peace where no one is separated. All are one and one is all.

The symbol of the Merkaba has been present in human culture for thousands of years in many cultures; every great spiritual system emphasises its great power.

In the Bible, the angel Ezekiel enters the Merkaba to ascend to heaven. In the Torah it is the chariot, the throne of God. The Zohar, the foundation of the Kabbalah, explains that in awareness and selfless action you approach the very heart of the Merkaba.. Yoga helps individual souls to recognise themselves as One and awaken from the illusion of separation and this idea is symbolised by the Merkaba. For Zen Buddhism it represents the journey to higher consciousness through meditation. The Egyptians believed that the Merkaba was a rotating light that transports the human body and spirit from one plane of existence to another.

The Merkaba is the most powerful symbol of spiritual evolution. It is not something you can read or know. It is something you have to experience.
